I was a FREE member at WA for several months. I had used both of the two free domains provided. For what it’s worth, I joined the boot camp, & was promoting Wealthy Affiliate with one of the free domains. I really wish I’d have read your post – which I appreciate by the way – before embarking on that journey! I put in a ton of hours building content for each of the domains. So whereas I didn’t pay for a premium membership, I did spend lots of valuable time. I felt no sense of urgency to upgrade regardless of the constant push from WA to do so. I feel that they push you into thinking you have to rush. Logically speaking, I knew I’d be throwing money down the drain based upon the free training. I saw this as something you need to build over a length of time. So I took my time continuing to build & considered that I would finally upgrade to a yearly Premium Membership once I had something substantial.
The AAWP plugin conversion and CTR is amazing! Once I started to use the plugin on all my sites, I saw an immediate increase in commissions. It also makes my sites look much more professional. I love tapping into the Amazon API to pull images, make my own charts and tables plus I know I am abiding by Amazon's TOS. AAWP is a must have tool for anyone running Amazon affiliate websites!
Thanks so much for this post – quick q – what is the scenario with Amazon App Store. For example if we link to an app in the Amazon App store from an app we have developed, do we still get a percentage of the sale (this is similar to Apple who pays out 4-5% and use affilate networks Trade Doubler, Link Share)? Is the same 24 hour scenario too for a ‘basket of goods’ and is it across all Amazon websites? Finally, is the scale the same (eg 4-8.5%)..
There’s also the fact that Wealthy Affiliate is not and never claims to be a get-rich-quick strategy. You will learn how to build a real, legitimate online business and one that can earn you some serious cash, but just like any other business, it is going to take a lot of time, effort, patience, and support along the way. If you have realistic expectations, are willing to learn from those who have succeeded before you, and you’re willing to put at least 6 months into your business before you see any profits at all, then Wealthy Affiliate is a good place for you.
Sorry I wasn’t clear I forgot I was addressing the very reason the gene pool needs a lifeguard. You must be hurting yourself by overthinking things. I will put you out of your misery. My reasoning for what I said is that I just don’t like you. Simple as that. I think you are very, very stupid. That’s all there is to it. The fact that you posted my comment has nothing to do with guts. It will very likely bring you a little attention which is the only reason you’ve published it. And Malcolm, you sir, are an oxygen thief! If laughter is the best medicine your face must be curing the world! I love what you’ve done with your hair. How did you get it to grow from your nostrils like that? Sorry, I must be “displaying my lack of intelligence” but then, how else would you understand me?
First off, I’m a blogger so it seems wrong not to mention it, but more importantly, it’s a legitimate way to make money. It’s quite possibly the least straight-forward way on this list, but it’s very doable and it’s also quite possibly the funnest way on this list. I love blogging and I know hundreds of bloggers who feel the same. So let’s talk about making money blogging and what it really means.
I first joined Wealthy Affiliate in June of 2016 mostly to just see what it was all about. I signed up for a free account at Wealthy Affiliate but upgraded to their paid Premium membership the very next day. After 7 months at Wealthy Affiliate, I decided it was finally time to write a Wealthy Affiliate review with my findings on whether this is a good program to sign up with or not.

As a current member of WA I can attest to everything that TeamAMR has outlined here.  I was skeptical at first, even when I first signed up, I did not engage but instead I was taking my time poking, sniffing around.  Once I started reading the blogs, the comments I decided to take the plunge and begin the training.  Now I’m a WA junkie, every time I see a member post a success story, I become more committed to my goal and work even harder.  If you are skeptical, it surely is understandable but sign up and snoop around like I first did and don’t be afraid and you will soon see that WA is legitimate and genuine.
